Assistance for disaster-affected Businesses
Assistance is still available for Australian businesses affected by natural disasters that occured in 2011. A range of government assistance programs are available for buisnesses including councelling, grants, loans, finance, insurance and general business support.

- Resilient Places Project
The Queensland Alliance for Mental Health Inc has received funding until 30 June 2013 from the Queensland Department of Communities to work with communities recovering from natural disasters in the areas of mental health promotion and awareness and community coordination. This project, called the Resilient Places Project, will complement recovery responses in seventeen local government areas.
