TiMBA - Tablelands Integrated Mountain Biking Alliance
Creating a World Class Mountain Bike Destination
Tablelands Futures Corporation Inc in partnership with (TFC), Tablelands Sport and Recreation Association (TSRA) Tablelands integrated Mountain Bike Alliance (TiMBa) have a vision and a plan to make Tropical North Queensland the premier mountain bike destination in Australia and an internationally recognised world class facility.
The plan is to develop a series of mountain bike trails radiating from existing community centres across the Tablelands (HUBS). These trails will be multi-purpose, accommodating not only mountain biking, but also allow access for walking, nature studies, picnicking, orienteering and others. There are already hundreds of kilometres of trails in existence and these will require mapping and remedial work (grooming) to meet international mountain bike trail standards. New loop trails will also be constructed with varying grades difficulty to provide trails to meet all tastes and talents.
Hubs will be based in existing community centres close to a nearby network of trails and provide supporting infrastructure.

Atherton Tablelands Chamber of Commerce
An initiative by Tablelands Futures Corporation to rebuild the Atherton Chamber of Commerce by engaging with the Community and providing assistance as required for the Executive Committee.

Tablelands Retirement and Aged Care Facilities
The Tablelands Retirement and Aged Care Facilities Action Group was formed in July 2009 in response to community concern and call for more retirement accommodation and aged care facilities in the Tablelands Region, Far North Queensland. It is a community-based group and consists of local community representatives of three seniors' associations as well as representatives of Tablelands Regional Council, Tablelands Futures Corporation and Advance Cairns.

Annually, TFC facilitate the Tablelands Combined Chambers forum.
The objective of these forums is to bring all together representatives from our regions Chambers of Commerce and Business Organisations to discuss key issues affecting our region.
