Atherton Tablelands Chamber of Commerce
Tablelands Futures Corporation organised a public meeting in March 2011, to engage with the Community and gather feedback on the idea or re-opening the Atherton Chamber of Commerce.
This meeting was very well attended by the Business Community and was facilitated by Margaret Darveniza, Regional Development Officer, Advance Cairns,.
Nominations were called for members of the community to establish an interim Committee to re-build the Chamber.
On Friday 29th July, 2011 the newly formed Atherton Tablelands Chamber of Commerce held their 1st members function and the Annual General Meeting was held in September 2011.
Members functions are held monthly.
