Small Business Online

In late 2009, Gulf Savannah Development (GSD) and TFC made a submission to AusIndustry for funds to deliver the Small Business On-Line project to Tablelands and Gulf businesses until June 2011.

GSD managed this project and TFC contributed $15,000 cash to this project.

Small Business Support Program 

Under the Australian Government's AusIndustry "Building Entrepreneurship in Small Business" grant funding program, Tablelands Futures Corporation contracted Inspire Business Consulting to deliver Training and Mentoring services to existing small businesses across the Atherton Tablelands and Gulf regions in FNQ. Conservative benefit to the region of $1.5M in increased jobs and overall business viability with over 215 businesses receiving direct support. July 2006 to June 2008.

Inaugural Primary Industries Forum 

Tablelands Futures Corporation coordinated the event to allow for the first time representatives from all primary industries to the Atherton Tablelands to come together to examine the major issues facing the sector and identify big picture strategies to improve prospects. Forum opened by Primary Industries Minister. February 2007.
