Gulf Savannah Development provides low cost small business advisory services to the Gulf Savannah and Atherton Tablelands regions of Queensland. This ASBAS project provides small business owners and operators with access to a small business advisor and a team of specialist consultants that will travel regularly throughout the region.

Cyclists Welcome Scheme – engaging with cycling tourism market

The Atherton Tablelands offers a world-class mountain biking experience for visitors due to the regions topography, climate, attractions, family friendly lcoations, first rate accommodation and service industries, a comprehensive existing trail network, industry and govenment support and a large number of locals who are dedicated mountain bikers.

Mountain bikers actively search for new experiences, and place a high reliance on word of mouth, previous experience and the internet as information sources. Tending to spend more than the average tourist, they are likely to travel as a family or couple and stay for several days in the region.
